That’s why we’re so excited to bring you this collection of digital entertainment based on the classic games you know and love from your own childhood. It’s time to relive your fond memories of passing Go and collecting $200, rolling Yahtzee, earning the Science & Nature pie piece, and hitting triple word score with a Q or Z. And it’s time to make new memories like these with your own kids.

Here are some tips on how to choose the right games for your family.

Game information

On this website you’ll find introductory and overview information about each game available from EA Hasbro, plus links about where to purchase or play the game online. You’ll also see a selection of gameplay videos and screenshots to give you an idea of what the game is about and the quality of the experience. Many of the more popular games like Littlest Pet Shop, Nerf N-Strike, and Trivial Pursuit, will have separate micro-sites, that this website links to, and will include even more information about those games.  All of the information on this site and our micro-sites is provided by Electronic Arts and Hasbro.

Game ratings

Similar to movie ratings, most video games are rated according to the ESRB, or Entertainment Software Ratings Board, an independent entity that regulates video games and advertising aimed at children.  Mobile, iPhone/iPod Touch, and iPod games are not rated by the ESRB.  All EA Hasbro retail games and online games include a rating from the ESRB.  When rated, most EA Hasbro game ratings fall under the "E" for EVERYONE rating or "E 10+" for EVERYONE over 10 years old rating. These ratings may or may not have extra descriptions, for example phrases like “comic mischief” or “mild animated violence”.  By paying attention to these ESRB ratings, you will be better able to choose suitable games for your family.

You can see each game’s rating by looking at the bottom of that particular game’s page. If a rating shows as “RP” or Rating Pending, this means that the game has not been rated by the ESRB.  Once a game is rated, it will always have a formal rating on the packaging or website.  For more information about the ESRB and game ratings, visit http://www.esrb.org.
